Why use real fur?Updated 2 years ago

We previously used real coyote and arctic blue fox fur because they did not freeze nor retain water, and disrupt wind flow - reducing cold air contact to the face. Because the furs we used were natural, they were also biodegradable. 

Please note that all of our furs were imported and ethically sourced from Canada and Finland. The Canadian furs meet stringent ethical requirements including the AIHTS (Agreement on Humane Trapping Standards) and BMP (Best Management Practices). The Finnish furs are Saga certified, traceable, and in compliance with their national legal requirements.
